Question 1 of 3

Should you be signed into a Google product such as gmail when you are checking your rankings?

A

Yes of course you should be. We know that Google loves itself and if it sees you are using a Google product, it will reward you with higher rankings

B

No you shouldn't be because your browser remembers where you have been previously and what results popped up on your page so your rankings will be biased. That is due to the fact that if Google sees you favour a certain web page, then it assumes that it’s a favorite of yours and will then show it more in your results.

C

It doesn't matter either way as Google will show you different results every time to give every website out there a fair showing in the search results.

Question 2 of 3

Why should you use an “Incognito” browser window when looking at your search results?

A

Just incase I land on a gambling site I don't want anyone to think I have been slacking off on the job

B

It sounds like a cool name and going Incognito is always more fun

C

An incognito or private browser window does not remember what sites have appeared on your browser from previous searches. Hence the results you get are clean and unbiased from your previous searches.

Question 3 of 3

Why should you clear your web browser cache after watching this video?

A

This video is harmful to your computer's health.

B

A good clean out is always a good idea.

C

Most people are unaware that their browser remembers their internet habits so clearing the cache now will give me clean results the next time I check my websites rankings.
